The Gibraltar Candytuft (Iberis gibraltarica) is a native of North Africa and unusual in that Gibraltar is the only place it grows wild on mainland Europe. It is the national flower of Gibraltar and the second premium gin handcrafted by Spirit of the Rock - a New Western Dry Gin with strong Mediterranean flavours; piuk grapefruit, tangy lemon, sweet orange, lemon verbena, Moroccan rose and a fruity hint of sun blushed peaches, not forgetting Candytuft seeds of course to give this gin the Spirit of the Rock.

Gibraltar's tailless monkeys (Macaca sylvanus) have lived on the Rock for possibly millions of years.Numbering approximately 300, they live in 5 o separate troops within the nature reserve and are cared for by the GONHS.

The Moon Lizard (Hemidactylus turcicus) lives in the Upper Rock Nature Reserve and can also be found throughout Gibraltar though it is rarer than the Moorish gecko. As its name suggests, and like all good party goers, it prefers night to day.

Our ultra premium vodka is distilled in Gibraltar by 'Spirit of the Rock' in small batches and hand crafted.

It is sublimely smooth due to Athena's special and secret distillation process and has no flavourings or colourings added. Made from a kosher certified grain spirit, it is gluten free and suitable for vegans.It contains no moon lizards.
